Friends,
I want to share an update on recent work in California and Washington, D.C.
Last week, I voted to disapprove of California’s 2035 electric vehicle mandate. I also voted to increase spending to sustain border security and enhance ICE detentions and removal processes.
In San Diego, I helped host new EPA Administrator Lee Zeldin for a tour of the South Bay International Wastewater Treatment Plant and discussed solutions to end the perpetual Tijuana sewage crisis once and for all.
At the 61st annual Lakeside Rodeo, I visited with area residents and recognized the Stadium Association for their contributions to the Lakeside Youth community. I toured Poway’s Decision Sciences and held a roundtable discussion with community members from the unincorporated communities of East County.
As always, it is an honor to serve as your representative in Congress. For more information, please visit www.issa.house.gov.
Respectfully,
Darrell Issa Member of Congress
