According to the expert analysis, “Democrats can’t rest easy” in the “fickle and fiercely independent” Granite State. There are multiple signs that New Hampshire will be close:
- Kamala Harris only defeated Donald Trump by three points in New Hampshire.
- In 2016 Maggie Hassan beat Republican Kelly Ayotte by a razor-thin .2% margin.
- Republicans have held the governor’s seat since Chris Sununu first won in 2016, and they have controlled the state legislature for 11 of the past 15 years.
