John, in case you missed it, you’re invited to participate in
an urgent conversation about climate change in our current political
moment.

Around the world, we’re seeing the devastating impacts of the climate
crisis — as well as the rise of far-right governments. These issues are
more connected than you might think.

Climate chaos is fueled by the same people in power who are attacking our
democracies and our rights. We’re coming together to discuss ways of
taking action to fight back.

Last month, we were joined for Part 1 of this series by U.S. activists for
a powerful conversation about the struggles happening around the world and
the need for climate activists to make the connections between war,
migration, and the current political moment.

There are two more webinars as part of this series scheduled for May, and
you don’t want to miss them:

Part 2: Climate Movements at the Intersections
📅 When: May 8, 2025 (Thursday) 2PM ET / 11AM PT

Part 2 of the series brings together powerful organizers from Turtle
Island and beyond to share how their climate struggles are responding to
militarism and xenophobia.

This will be an interactive workshop, where participants will be able to
share with each other and the speakers. We’ll be joined by Tefere Gebre,
formerly of the AFL-CIO and Greenpeace USA; Kathy Jetn̄il-Kijiner, a poet,
educator and performer from the Marshall Islands; AL Caballes from Desis
Rising Up & Moving (DRUM); and Helena Mullenbäch Martínez from 350
Colombia.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------

Part 3: What We Take Forward
📅 When: May 22, 2025 (Thursday) 7PM ET / 4PM PT

In our final webinar, 350 activists who are part of the International
Solidarity Working Group (ISWG) will share what they have learned from the
webinar and think through what lessons can be applied to our climate
movement. Webinar participants will be invited to interact with ISWG
members and with each other.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------

I hope you can make it to one (or ideally both!) of these important
conversations and opportunities for action in community with organizers
from all over the world.

In solidarity,

Nico for Team 350 and the International Solidarity Working Group (ISWG)

John, the rise of the far right and the worsening climate
crisis are deeply connected — and the time for urgent action is now.

Climate chaos is fueled by the same people in power who are currently
attacking our democracies and our rights all across the globe. As climate
activists, we must recognize these connections as we advocate for
renewable energy solutions and a safer future for all.

That’s why we’re inviting YOU to join us for the Climate in this Political
Moment Webinar Series, hosted by the 350 International Solidarity Working
Group (ISWG).

what to expect from this Climate in this Political Moment Webinar Series:

Part 1: How We Got Here
📅 When: April 24, 2025 (Thursday) 7PM ET / 4PM PT

How should we understand the current moment, with right-wing extremism and
authoritarianism on the rise? How is this related to climate change?

Join our exciting line-up of speakers as we discuss how our climate
struggles are intimately connected to the fight for democracy. We’ll be
joined by Jeremy Brecher from the Labor Network for Sustainability, Biju
Mathew from the New York Taxi Workers Alliance, and Lorena Araujo from
CRIPDES (the Association for Development of El Salvador).

--------------------------------------------------------------------------

Part 2: Climate Movements at the Intersections
📅 When: May 8, 2025 (Thursday) 2PM ET / 11AM PT

How are communities and organized movements responding to the current
political moment?

Part 2 of the series brings together powerful organizers from Turtle
Island and beyond to discuss how their climate struggles are responding to
militarism and xenophobia. We’ll be joined by Tefere Gebre from Greenpeace
USA, Kathy Jetn̄il-Kijiner, poet, educator, and performer from the
Marshall Islands, AL Caballes from Desis Rising Up & Moving (DRUM), and
Helena Mullenbäch Martínez from 350 Colombia.

Part 3: What We Take Forward
📅 When: May 22, 2025 (Thursday) 7PM ET / 4PM PT

In our final webinar, 350 activists who are part of the ISWG will discuss
what they have learned from the webinar and think through what lessons can

The ISWG is a group of 350 activists in the U.S. who are committed to
