So many of you told me that healthcare was your top issue, and I am right there with you, JOhn. Just last Saturday, I hosted a Medicaid-focused town hall in Leesburg! Boosting healthcare access and affordability has always been a top priority of mine. I’ve fought for transparency in prescription drug pricing – and won – and I’ll continue to support the ability of Medicare to negotiate drug prices. It is past time to lower the barriers of access to quality care.
With the Trump administration’s onslaught of attacks against the Department of Education, I know education is also top of mind for many of us right now. As a father raising two young daughters in the district, I’m also worried that our children will have fewer resources and underfunded programs. That’s why this fight is a personal one for me.
