John, it's the Kansas Democrats.

Kansas Republicans are jeopardizing the health and safety of every family across the state.

The MAGA Majority in Congress is working on passing a budget that would cut $880 Billion of Medicaid funding, kicking millions of Americans off their health coverage over the next decade, to pay for a tax cut for billionaires.

In Kansas, the state legislature has already refused to expand Medicaid, which means we've lost out on nearly $7 billion in federal funding that would have flowed through the state’s health care economy during the past decade—when it really could have come in handy:

👎 Almost a dozen rural hospitals have closed in the last decade
👎 Hundreds of thousands of Kansans are uninsured
👎 Our state is missing out on critical job creation and revenue

Still, nearly half a million Kansans are enrolled in Medicaid. Medicaid pays for almost 2/3 of all nursing home care for elderly Kansans, and Medicaid covers the health insurance for 1 in 3 of our children.

John, Kansans literally cannot afford to lose access to this care.
