Our last webinar about the Teighlor McGee Grassroots Mini Grant program talked about what the program is and who can apply to receive up to $6,250 in funding for a local, state, or national self advocacy project. On May 15, 2025 at 3:00 PM ET, we will be holding another webinar to go over the application and offer support to interested applicants. The application questions are available now to give people time to think about what projects they want to submit and work on their answers. Register for the webinar here. ASAN will begin accepting applications for our Affiliates in Action and Self-Advocates Transforming Equitable Policy mini grants on May 15, 2025. We especially encourage self-advocates of color, LGBT self-advocates, low-income self-advocates, self-advocates with intellectual disabilities, AAC users, and self-advocates from other marginalized communities to apply.
