Ask the Chancellor to support public transport

On 11 June, the Chancellor will announce the outcome of the Comprehensive Spending Review and set out spending plans for all government departments - including transport - for the next four years.

We want to ensure that she recognises the value of public transport in helping deliver green growth and sets aside the funding needed to support it. We've already submitted our transport spending asks to the Treasury as part of the formal response process (you can see our six priorities below), but now it's your turn.

To help reinforce the benefits and value for money of investing in public transport we need your support. Please help us convince the Chancellor to support public transport by writing to her using our online template.

The Government has said it wants to kickstart economic growth and break down barriers to opportunities. By investing in public transport it can do just this and help raise living standards, boost household incomes and deliver the green growth the country needs.

Please write to the Chancellor today and ask her to support public transport.
