They covered a lot of ground—from calling out the chaos of the Trump administration to laying out what it will take for Democrats to earn the trust of voters and win.

As Pete said, it’s not enough to just oppose everything happening in our country right now. We have to offer a clear, hopeful agenda rooted in freedom, fairness, and the everyday lives of working Americans.

Pete talked about raising wages, protecting Social Security, and guaranteeing paid family leave—but also about how authoritarianism feeds on dysfunction, and why Democrats can’t just promise to go back to before.
