It’s that time of year again! 🥳️🎉 URGE is on the hunt for our next cycle of bold and dynamic, storytellers and digital creatives to be part of URGE’s Our Folks: Voices of LGBTQ+ Youth of Color program 2025-2026 cohort. |
Our Folks is an eight-month, fully remote internship that will arm you with skills to write for a variety of publications, use social media to amplify your voice and connect the personal (your lived experience) with the political. We value the perspectives of young LGBTQ+ folks of color and to reflect this, program participants will be compensated for their work on a monthly basis.
|
While no formal experience is required to be part of Our Folks and applications are open to college students, young folks in the workforce, freelancers, and more, we do have eligibility requirements. Check out the “required” and “bonus” qualifications below to see if you’d be a good fit! |
