The Trump administration’s dismantling of the federal government has had incredibly negative impacts across the country, including here in Maryland.

From cutting back on critical agencies and services to unjustly jeopardizing the livelihoods of hardworking federal workers, we already feel the effects of the administration’s rash decisions. I’m proud to have provided declarations for lawsuits brought by Attorney General Anthony Brown that challenge some of the administration’s decisions, including the Maryland-led case to stop the reckless DOGE cuts to our federal agencies. One of my declarations was also cited in an opinion last month, where Judge James K. Bredar decided to halt the administration’s mass firings:

She further attests that “hundreds” of Maryland federal employees have been recently terminated and applied for unemployment benefits, which will ultimately result in “significant decreases in Maryland’s income tax revenues.”

I will continue to advocate for Marylanders in the face of the Trump administration’s harmful cuts. Will you pitch in to help power our campaign while we continue fighting back?
