2025 Multi-Sector General Permit Update

The MPCA Industrial Stormwater Program continues to work towards finalizing the Multi-Sector General Permit (MSGP) for Industrial Stormwater. When the permit is finalized we will announce that through this newsletter, on our MPCA Industrial Stormwater website, and attempt to directly contact permittees by email. 

The e-Services Industrial Stormwater General Permit and No Exposure Certification Application service remains unavailable at this time. Because of the MSGP updates, the application service also needed to be updated and that process has taken more time than expected. We anticipate having the application service available summer 2025.

Permittees should stay compliant with their existing industrial stormwater permits as those requirements are still in place.
