Medicaid ensures that everyone has access to the health care they need, particularly people living on low incomes. Funding cuts would have a direct impact on access to reproductive health care including birth control, STI screenings, cancer screenings and maternal health services.

Medicaid covers 40% of all births in the US, pregnancy and postpartum care for 65% of Black mothers, and 75% of all publicly funded family planning services.
