For decades, the
ultra-liberal Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation and George Soros’ Open
Society have spent millions radicalizing the ALA.
And as a result, a new
generation of pink-haired, activist librarians have made it their mission
to fill library shelves with anti-American, LGBTQ-friendly, and explicitly
sexual content.
Maybe you’ve noticed
all the displays at your own library celebrating Pride Month or elevating
“the environment” to a type of religion.
The “Teen Zone” is
filled with books like: Rick about a cross-dressing Grandpa,
Melissa filled with graphic nudity, and Darkstalker
featuring gory violence and domestic abuse.
But here’s what’s
really alarming.
We can’t just sit back
and say, “Well, I’ll just make sure my family doesn’t go to “Drag
Queen Story Hour” and we won’t check out those inappropriate
books.”
That may be good for
your family – for now.
But meanwhile, the ALA
uses our taxpayer-funded libraries to lure in millions of other children
who grow up to be the very activists who are destroying our country and
conservative values!
I hope you see why I need your help
today.
My name is Kirk
Cameron.
Maybe you recognize me
from the 1980’s family sitcom “Growing Pains” or from my work in
inspirational movies like “Fireproof” and “Left Behind.”
I know firsthand how
dangerous it is to be indoctrinated by leftist values. Pride almost took me
down as a young actor in Hollywood.
But the gospel saved
me.
I love being an actor,
but what’s far more important is being a husband, dad, grandad, and a
Christian.
When I saw what book
publishers and libraries were doing to indoctrinate children with anti-God,
anti-family, anti-America messages, I knew I had a duty to take action.
So together with a small
Christian book publisher aptly named Brave Books, I wrote
“As You Grow” to teach children how to grow in wisdom through the fruit
of the spirit.
And then we decided to
go one step further and counter those awful “Drag Queen Story Hours”
with a wholesome Story Hour of our own.
Our idea was to read the
classic books you and I grew up with plus new wholesome Brave
Books that captivate children with lessons in bravery, honesty,
kindness, and patriotism.
And boy, the ALA and
radical librarians didn’t like that one bit.
>> Over 50
libraries rejected our request to host our Story Hour.
>> The ALA helped
local libraries scheme ways to keep us out including booking all the event
rooms for themselves.
>> Social media
blew up with attacks: I was compared to a Nazi (that’s original),
Brave Books was accused of trying to “confuse and
demoralize children,” our supporters were described as “bored
moms/busybodies who need something to feel good about,” and on and on.
I can’t even print
most things these radicals said because it’s so vile.
In the end we got two
libraries to reverse course by reminding them that their censorship
violated the Constitution of the United States.
And thousands of parents
and grandparents brought their little ones to those Story Hours where we
pledged allegiance to the flag, sang “God Bless America,” and read
wholesome and Godly books.
It was incredible.
But here’s the
greatest part...
From there, parents and
grandparents started asking Brave Books how they could
host Story Hours of their own.
And that’s how our
nationwide “See You at the Library Day” was born.
Last year, committed
conservatives just like you booked event rooms at 360 libraries in 45
states.
On the same day, we held
hundreds of Story Hours to fill children’s hearts with goodness,
gratitude, and God.
I went to as
many "See You at the Library" events as I could in one day to stand
shoulder-to-shoulder with conservative parents, grandparents, and
patriots...
...for a very simple
mission – to reject the Left’s radical ideas and reclaim childhood
innocence in America’s libraries.
And this year, our
ambitious goal is to expand “See You at the Library Day” to over 1,000
libraries reaching over 100,000 children.
The exact date in August
will soon be announced.
And before then, what we
need is you!
It’s going to be
expensive to give these volunteers the resources they need to hold Story
Hours for 100+ children at each library – that's 100,000+ children in
all.
That’s why I hope you’ll give a sponsorship gift of
$175, $350, $525 or more today.
Your sponsorship gift
will be used to send a “Story Hour Kit” to every parent, grandparent,
and patriot who’s organizing a “See You at the Library Day” event.
The kit includes
everything they need to bring your conservative values back into our public
libraries: instructions for booking their library space and running their
Story Hour, small American flags for the little ones, fun stickers,
wholesome books, Bible memory verse cards, and other specialty items.
Brave
Books is a small Christian company. They don’t have the millions
behind them like the giant taxpayer-funded ALA.
Your sponsorship gift is
the only way we can fund our 1,000 Story Hours to counter the radical
leftists who’ve taken control of our libraries.
Knowing that, please consider a sponsorship gift of
$175. That’s enough to sponsor one entire “Story
Hour Kit” yourself. Singlehandedly, you’ll be reaching 50 children with
our wholesome, Godly, and patriotic message.
Whatever you can give whether it’s $35, $175, or anything
higher or lower please get your sponsorship gift in within the next 48
hours so we know how many libraries we can get into this
August!
