Just a few days ago, Kathy Hochul and I joined our fellow Democratic governors JB Pritzker and Maura Healey for a virtual town hall. As the first line of defense against Trump, we spoke directly with thousands of Americans about the disastrous start of his second term.

Right now, folks are scared and pissed. Trump and his Republican allies have spent the past three months gutting Social Security, Medicaid, and the Department of Education. And now, they’re scared to face their own constituents.

As the governors of Minnesota and New York, we’ll keep showing up and fighting back with a clear message to Trump and the people enabling him: Get your hands off our retirement plans, our health care, and our schools.
