Dear A.,

This morning, Israeli

fighter jets struck the Houthi-controlled Sanaa International Airport and other strategic targets following the Iranian-backed terror group's ballistic missile strike on Ben-Gurion Airport over the weekend.

The IDF said that the airport, which was used "for transferring weapons and operatives, and is regularly operated by the Houthi regime for terror purposes," was "completely disabled."

Before the strike, IDF Arabic spokesperson Col. Avichay Adraee

issued a warning to Yemeni civilians in Arabic: "We call upon you to evacuate the airport area - Sana'a International Airport - immediately and warn everyone in your vicinity of the need to evacuate this area immediately. Failure to evacuate and move away from the place exposes you to danger."

Israeli jets also hit several power stations near Sanaa and a cement factory north of the city, which the IDF said, "constitutes a blow to the regime’s economy and its military buildup."

Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu

said that the attack also sent a message to Iran, "without whose approval and long-term support, the Houthis could not carry out the criminal missile attack against us."

Israel's ability to carry out these strikes against a shared threat to America and Israel is a direct result of decades of U.S. security assistance and military support for the Jewish state.

Meanwhile, this afternoon, President Trump

said the United States had reached an agreement to end its bombing campaign against the Houthis. "They said, 'Please don’t bomb us anymore and we’re not going to attack your ships,'" Trump said, referring to the Houthis.

A senior Houthi official said the terror group would stop attacking U.S. Navy ships if the airstrikes end but "will definitely continue our operations in support to Gaza" — meaning continued attacks against Israel.

Following Trump's announcement, Senator Lindsey Graham (R-SC)

wrote :

"As to the Houthis continuing to attack Israel - they do so at Iran’s own peril. Without Iran, the Houthis do not possess the capability to attack America, international shipping or Israel.

"To my friends in Israel, do what you have to do to protect your airspace and your people. It is long past time to consider hitting Iran hard. It wouldn’t take much to put Iran out of the oil business."
The United States must continue to work with Israel and our other allies to increase the pressure on Iran and its terrorist proxies.

Dermer set for meetings with senior U.S. officials

Israeli Strategic Affairs Minister Ron Dermer will be in Washington, D.C. tomorrow for

meetings with senior U.S. officials ahead of President Trump's visit to the Middle East next week.

The meetings will focus on the ongoing hostage release negotiations, Israel's planned operation in Gaza, Iran nuclear negotiations and other key issues, according to reports.

During his trip, Trump is expected to visit Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, and Qatar.

Israel destroys Hezbollah weapons site in Lebanon

Israeli airstrikes yesterday

destroyed a Hezbollah weapons manufacturing and storage site in the Beqaa Valley area.

The IDF has struck the facility in the past, but Hezbollah was working to restore it. The IDF also hit several other Hezbollah targets.

Hezbollah's activity and presence in the areas "constitute blatant violations of the understandings agreement between Israel and Lebanon," the IDF said.

The United States must increase the pressure on Lebanon and Hezbollah to comply with the terms of the November 2024 ceasefire agreement, which Hezbollah has repeatedly violated and the Lebanese government failed to fully enforce.

Hamas terrorists in Rafah surrender to Israeli forces

Yesterday, Israeli troops

arrested Hamas terrorists in Rafah who surrendered under Israeli military pressure.

One of the terrorists was a commander who participated in the October 7 attack and was involved in holding hostages, and another was a sniper unit commander.

The Shin Bet interrogated the terrorists and obtained important intelligence, including the location of a major Hamas terror site.

Meanwhile, a Turkey-based Hamas official
[link removed]
said today that "There is no sense in engaging in talks or considering new ceasefire proposals as long as" Israel continues its operations in Gaza.

The war in Gaza could end today if Hamas would release the hostages, lay down its arms, and surrender.

The United States must increase the pressure on Hamas and its sponsors in Qatar, Turkey and Iran to release the 59 hostages, including 5 Americans, still held captive in Gaza.

Syrian Druze evacuated to Israel for medical treatment

The IDF said today that

ten Syrian Druze were brought to Israel for medical treatment over the past two days after being injured in attacks in Syria.

Yesterday, the IDF announced it located and destroyed the central military headquarters of the former Assad regime in the Mount Hermon region.

The facility included a large weapons store, including artillery, mortars, rocket launchers, explosives and landmines.

Israeli troops remain in southern Syria to protect Israeli border communities from terror threats, as well as working to help the local Druze population.
