Donald Trump and his allies have made it absolutely clear: They’re coming after women’s rights — again.
This time, it’s the funding of women’s health research. The Trump administration quietly moved to gut the Women’s Health Initiative, the nation’s largest and most important women’s health study.
Millions of women’s lives are at stake — that’s why Congresswoman Ross led her Democratic Women’s Caucus colleagues in demanding that Trump immediately reverse course.
And, after public pressure and the voices of countless constituents, the administration was forced to back down and restore the funding. We won this round — but this fight is far from over.
The Trump administration is waging a war on science and on women. We must stay vigilant, and we must fight back. We must protect this seat, and we must flip the House to stop Trump’s extremist agenda against women.
Will you chip in $10 to help us protect this seat and ensure women’s health and rights are never up for negotiation? Every dollar helps us fight back against Trump’s dangerous agenda and flip the House in 2026. >> [link removed]
Thank you,
Team Ross

In 2020, Deborah became the first Democrat in over a decade to be elected to represent North Carolina’s 2nd Congressional district. In her first term, eleven pieces of legislation she introduced were signed into law. These measures increased funding for sexual assault nurse examiners, enhanced judicial ethics and transparency, and bolstered North Carolina’s offshore wind energy potential. Deborah needs your support to continue the fight for fairness, equality, and progress. Let’s do this together.
