John,

In rural communities like ours, driving isn’t optional—it’s how we get to work, pick up groceries, and see our doctor. As a former auto repair shop owner, Marie understands better than most how vital cars are to everyday life here in Southwest Washington.

It’s critical that ordinary people have the tools and freedom to repair their own things instead of being forced to buy cheap, disposable replacements. That’s why Marie has spearheaded bipartisan legislation to lower repair costs and protect our right to fix what we own, especially our vehicles. Now that the bill has been reintroduced in the Senate, it’s one step closer to becoming law—and towards making a real difference for working people across the country.

This “right to repair” will make a real, tangible difference for Americans everywhere. Marie needs to know where you stand on this issue, John:

Do you agree that making your own auto repairs should be affordable and accessible?
YES
NO

This is pocketbook sustainability that just makes sense, John. We want to be able to repair and be good stewards of our stuff, and steer away from reliance on cheap junk that doesn’t last.

We must continue to empower ordinary Americans to make their own repairs with access to the necessary data and tools. And as technology progresses and new fields emerge, Marie remains dedicated to making sure we don’t leave rural communities or working families behind.

Help Marie drive this work in the right direction by responding to our quick survey today:

Do you agree that making your own auto repairs should be affordable and accessible?
YES
NO

Thanks for taking the time to respond, John.
