Yesterday, President Trump took to Twitter (once again) to call Senator Elizabeth Warren 'Pocahontas.' I won’t share the whole tweet here because it was repugnant, racist, and not worth sharing. We have to get Trump out of the White House -- chip in here to help support this campaign to flip WI-07 and Wisconsin blue.
Pocahontas wasn't some Disney princess. She was a victim of human trafficking, and she was one of our first known stolen sisters. #MMIW
Using her name in the way Trump has repeatedly done is derogatory, and as a Ho-Chunk woman, I do not take these attacks lightly.
I'm tired of these right-wing bullies, especially when they live in the White House. When they go low, we go VOTE.
