Yes, I’m in one of the most competitive races in the country — I won reelection in 2024 by just 2.74%, while Trump carried my district. That’s why I’m once again part of the DCCC’s Frontline Program, and why national Republicans are targeting my seat as a top flip opportunity.

That’s why I just introduced the bipartisan Help Hoover Dam Act with Senator Catherine Cortez Masto and colleagues from both parties. Our bill cuts through red tape and unlocks $50 million in stranded federal funds to support Hoover Dam operations, maintenance, and upgrades.

This legislation means:

• Lower energy costs for families and small businesses

• More reliable clean energy for over a million people across Nevada, Arizona, and California

• Protection for a water source that supports 40 million Americans

This is the kind of smart, effective leadership we need more of in Washington. And it’s exactly the kind of leadership that far-right extremists are trying to tear down.
