Before he got to Congress, he got rich abusing dogs. Yes, really_._

He ran a pharmaceutical lab that TESTED EXPERIMENTAL DRUGS ON
INNOCENT_ BEAGLES_ AND _MONKEYS_.

When the company collapsed, he abandoned the facility and he LEFT THE
DOGS LOCKED IN CAGES TO EITHER _STARVE_ OR _DIE_ FROM THE SIDE
EFFECTS OF THE DRUGS BEING TESTED ON THEM.

Former employees of the lab had to climb fences and break back in just
to feed them while animal welfare groups sued to try to save the lives
of the innocent animals.
