Paul Davis is a South Philadelphia writer and frequent contributor to Broad + Liberty. He is also a regular contributor to Counterterrorism magazine, and he writes the “On Crime” column for the Washington Times. He enlisted in the U.S. Navy when he was 17 and served two years aboard the aircraft carrier USS Kitty Hawk during the Vietnam War. He also served two years aboard a Navy harbor tugboat at the U.S. nuclear submarine base at Holy Loch, Scotland. He performed security work as a Defense Department civilian employee after serving in the Navy, and later became a full-time writer. His work has also appeared in the Philadelphia Inquirer, the Philadelphia Daily News, Philadelphia Weekly, and other publications.
