Veterans shouldn’t have to experience a lack of care and support after serving our country.

That’s why we provide mental health counseling, medical care, addiction treatment, and behavioral healthcare to veterans and military families at our Steven A. Cohen Military Family Clinic. We support the children of disabled veterans at Easterseals Child Development Centers through our Little Warriors program. And our Veteran Staffing Network supports hundreds of veterans every year by helping them transition from military life to a lasting civilian career.

But now that it’s Military Appreciation Month, we’re working hard to show our veterans and military families that they have this community’s overwhelming support and gratitude. Mary Mahoney searched for weeks to find mental health support for a friend in the military community.

When she finally found the Steven A. Cohen Military Family Clinic at Easterseals, Mary says it was "magic" compared to what she'd been through before. The clinic called her back the next day to set up an intake meeting for her friend.

"I was like, ‘It can't be that simple.’ But it was. … It was amazing. And the people are so wonderful and warm and caring. I couldn't have asked for a better experience.”
