You might remember that Democrats recently sued Trump over his illegal executive order, which had attempted to suppress voters, upend voter registration systems, hand over sensitive information to DOGE, stop states from counting eligible mail ballots, and withhold federal election funding from dozens of states in the process.

Well, we recently had an important update in this case. A U.S. District Court judge blocked key parts of Trump’s order, an important step forward in the fight to protect our democracy.

Without this decision, Americans across the country — including married women who changed their last name — could have faced significant roadblocks in registering to vote.

But Democrats fought back, and with your support, we’ll do it again. We’ll keep using every tool at our disposal — including taking Trump to court — to defend the right to vote.

Going up against Trump and the richest man in the world is not easy — but Democrats are committed to keeping up the fight. If work like this is important to you, I hope you’ll consider chipping in a few dollars to help fund it.
