I am proud to announce that
Supervisor Aaron Peskin has officially endorsed my campaign for
re-election as District 11 Supervisor!
Supervisor Aaron Peskin has been a
strong ally during my time on the Board of Supervisors. Supervisor
Peskin and I worked closely together to reach a consensus on the first
inclusionary affordable housing update that San Francisco has passed
in the last 15 years. The inclusionary housing update both prioritizes
low-income families and caters to working San Franciscans such as
teachers and firefighters, who don’t usually qualify for subsidized
housing. In
addition, Supervisor Peskin and
I have also worked closely to ensure our working families and labor
unions have a protected right to collective bargaining by passing
our first Citywide Project Labor Agreement for San
Francisco.
During this time of crisis, we
collaborated on legislation to ensure that small businesses are able
to make it through this financially distressing time.
Supervisor Peskin and I were able to limit delivery app fees to 15
percent to give much needed relief to restaurants and workers
struggling during this pandemic.
Our City continues to face
unprecedented challenges and I am committed to working with Supervisor
Peskin and my colleagues on the Board of Supervisors to ensure that
our community recovers from this crisis. I am so grateful to have
Supervisor Peskin's full support for my re-election as District 11
Supervisor.
