Former Gubernatorial Candidate will share his story with young Hoosier Democrats

We are proud to announce that the first openly gay major party candidate to run for governor in Indiana, entrepreneur, educator, & community activist Josh Owens will speak at the 2020 Indiana Young Democrats Virtual State Convention on June 20th!

I’m excited to join IYD at their virtual convention and talk about the hope I saw from Hoosiers while traveling across Indiana this last year. We are ready for change and inclusive leadership that reflect the values of all Hoosiers, and the young Dems are leading the charge for the democratic party in our state.” said Josh Owens.

Important Dates and Reminders:
* The deadline to request to vote by absentee ballot and cast an absentee ballot is June 17, 2020. Send requests to [email protected] (mailto:[email protected]?subject=Absentee%20Ballot) . If you requested an absentee ballot, an email will be sent to you starting May 30th.
* A person who resides in Indiana but cannot legally contribute to the Indiana Young Democrats may register for the convention, inform the President of their inability to contribute because of a legal prohibition, and be granted a waiver in order to be considered a member in good standing. Send requests to [email protected] (mailto:[email protected]?subject=Convention%20Waiver) .

Members of the general public may attend our convention to watch our guest speakers, participate in training sessions, and to learn more about the Indiana Young Democrats.
