This Saturday, May 10, we’re calling on our members to step up for two important community events—supporting our local schools and caring for our public parks!

On Saturday, May 10 at 10 a.m., join Arlington Young Dems for a park cleanup at Quincy Park (1021 N Quincy St, across from the Central Library).

Please wear closed-toed shoes, as recommended by the Park Service. We’ll provide gloves and have a limited number of trash grabbers available. We’re also collecting shelf-stable food and toiletries for the Little Food Pantry at St. John’s Episcopal Church.

Also on Saturday, May 10, We’re looking for volunteers to assist with voter check-in and logistics at the Arlington Dems’ School Board Endorsement Vote, taking place Saturday, May 10, from 10 a.m.–6 p.m. at Charles R. Drew Elementary School. Whether you can give a few hours or the full day, your help will keep this important civic process running smoothly. Snacks and drinks provided!
