Here’s an update from our campaign:

** Working to Put America First
------------------------------------------------------------

Last week, the White House announced ([link removed]) additional details regarding successful efforts to secure our border. In addition to reducing catch and release by more than 99 ([link removed]) % compared to the Biden Administration, we’ve also seen thousands of illegal aliens with violent criminal records arrested by federal law enforcement.

You can read more about our successful work here. ([link removed])

I recently joined Vicki McKenna on WISN to discuss the need for state and federal officials to work together to enforce our immigration laws and protect our communities. You can listen to our conversation below.

Over the past several months, Congress has been working to pass an America First Agenda that delivers meaningful results for our nation, including writing a budget that delivers on our shared priorities.

Last week, I and my colleagues on the House Financial Services Committee advanced our budget reconciliation instructions to the House. While our committee was charged with targeting $1 billion ([link removed]) in total savings in our jurisdiction, we were able to identify more than $5 billion ([link removed]) —allowing Wisconsin families to keep more of their hard-earned paychecks.

Committees in the House will continue working on the federal budget over the coming weeks to ensure we deliver on an America First Agenda that reduces costs for families, unleashes American energy, secures our border, and protects important programs like Social Security and Medicare.

Finally, the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel ([link removed]) recently highlighted our continued dominant victories in the 1st Congressional District.

“While Steil’s southeastern Wisconsin 1st Congressional District appears on paper to be the better Democratic pickup opportunity with its blue cities and tighter margins in recent statewide elections…[Steil] has won nearly every election by double digits.”

We know the Democrats are after our seat again this cycle. But with our common-sense conservative policies, Wisconsin work ethic, and your continued support, we will beat them again.

On Wisconsin,

Bryan Steil
