Governor Northam announced that Arlington and the rest of Northern Virginia will begin Phase Two of the Forward Virginia reopening plan on Friday. Phase Two relaxes some of the restrictions currently in force in Phase One, but still requires limitations to ensure social distancing.

As members think about how to operate safely in Phase Two and beyond, the Government Affairs & Economic Development Committee will welcome Arlington Health Director Reuben Varghese, M.D. and Environmental Health Manager Candice Wooden at its meeting on Wednesday, June 17, 9:00-10:00 a.m.

Also, as with our in-person meetings in the VIDA Fitness Boardroom, participation in this online Government Affairs & Economic Development Committee meeting is for members of the Arlington Chamber of Commerce. If you have any questions, please reach out to our Government Affairs Manager, Scott Pedowitz, at [email protected].
