From the House floor to the airwaves, I’m dedicated to advocating for the interests of Virginians. I believe that it’s my duty to uplift the concerns of my constituents on the national stage wherever I can – especially now.
Last week, I joined Don Lemon to talk about how tariffs and funding cuts affect families here in the 10th district. We also discussed the recent high-profile national security leaks and how my role as the Ranking Member of the Oversight Subcommittee on Military and Foreign Affairs informs my perspective on the issue.
As a guest on Jim Acosta’s show (starting at 36:15), I highlighted the number of federal workers who live and raise families in Virginia – and how their work matters. We covered dwindling government benefits, mounting illegal deportations, and what it takes for all of us to meet this pivotal moment.
Here’s what I told him:
