Advisory board meets to discuss commercially-guided fishing boats in Wyoming

CHEYENNE — The Wyoming Game and Fish Department’s new advisory board for commercially-guided fishing boats held its initial meeting May 1 in Cheyenne. The advisory board began discussions to develop recommendations that will address waterway congestion stemming from commercial guide boat activity, and serve to help improve the overall fishing experience for the public in Wyoming.

CHEYENNE — Wyoming Wildlife magazine is calling for your best wildlife photographs from the Cowboy State. Entries are open for the sixth annual Wyoming Wildlife Calendar Photo Contest. Entries will be accepted until midnight June 16.


Gov. Gordon donates wild bison license for wildlife conservation

CHEYENNE – For the seventh year, Governor Mark Gordon is donating a wild bison license to support Wyoming wildlife conservation. The license will be issued through a random raffle open only to Wyoming residents. Tickets are available for purchase beginning May 1, and will be available through June 14.

Tickets still available for Wyoming Sportsperson's Conservation Forum

Tickets for the second annual Wyoming Sportsperson Conservation Forum, hosted by Governor Mark Gordon alongside the Wyoming Game and Fish Department, are still available through May 11. The event is May 21 at the National Museum of Military Vehicles in Dubois.

Tickets can be purchased online and include lunch for attendees. In-person attendance is encouraged; there is no virtual option for this event.
