Last month, the Trump administration brazenly decided to freeze federal education funds awarded to our state because I simply asked Trump to follow the rule of law.

But what he didn’t know is that we Mainers don’t cower to bullies.

I stood in the White House and told him I’d see him in court. Well, we did see him in court, and we won.

This is a huge victory for Mainers, and I’m so proud of the hard work that Maine Democrats did to make this happen. But our work doesn’t stop here.

We know that Trump has a vendetta against me and our state, and he will do whatever it takes to get his way… even if it means defying the rule of law and the U.S. Constitution.

So our work to fight back against his attacks, defend our fundamental rights, and protect our democratic values has never been more important.
