I just want to say it like it is.
Every person in this country should be able to afford the medicine they need, without skipping doses, going into debt, or choosing between prescriptions and groceries.
But that’s exactly what too many New Mexicans are forced to do, and Donald Trump just made it worse.
Recently, Donald Trump issued an executive order aimed at gutting Medicare’s ability to negotiate lower drug prices – a hard-won protection in the Inflation Reduction Act.
Let’s be clear: this will raise drug prices for seniors, waste taxpayer dollars, and put even more power in the hands of billion-dollar drug companies.
I know what it’s like to struggle. To count every dollar at the pharmacy and pray it’ll stretch far enough.
That’s why I’ll always stand up to keep money in our pockets – not hand it over to Big Pharma. But I can’t do this alone.
Trump is trying to rewrite the rules in Big Pharma’s favor. I’m running to protect working families and ensure no one is priced out of the care they need.
Let’s do this together.
