Saturday, May 10 Join SF YIMBY, Westside Family Democratic Club, Abundant Leaders, and friends (all are welcome) for a morning shift of door knocking and talking with voters, then stay to hang out for tacos with your fellow urbanists and Joel supporters! If a lower-mobility activity is better for you, we'll set you up for holding a sign or handing out flyers instead.

This Mother’s Day, May 11, we’re teaming up with Civic Joy Fund for their weekly Disco Trash Pick-up at Manny's in the Mission. Honor the mothers and the mother figures in your life by tidying up with us! And if this is your first time at a Manny’s trash pickup, you’re in luck – it’s also a party. In keeping with our vision of a lively, accessible San Francisco with more homes for everyone, D9 Neighbors sees picking up the trash together as a neighborly way to take care of the district we call home. We’ll pick up trash for an hour and then gather for brunch at Manny’s afterwards. Dress in comfortable clothes and shoes. Civic Joy Fund will provide safety vests, gloves, trash bags and trash pickers. This is a kid-friendly event! Bring the whole family. |

You’ll hear from special guests, learn more about Progressive Abundance, make friends, and have a night to remember. We'll be gathering from 6:30pm to 9:30pm at The Fold in San Francisco (formerly known as The Laundry) at 3359 26th St, San Francisco, CA 94110 (near 24th and Mission). We'll have drinks, great friends, new connections, and a spectacular panel discussion at 7:15pm featuring leaders of the Abundance and YIMBY movement from Inclusive Abundance, YIMBY Democrats for America, YIMBY Action, SF YIMBY, The San Francisco Democratic Party, and The Center for New Liberal's Bay Area New Liberals. |
