Friend,
Last week American Jews showed up powerfully with our immigration,
faith, and labor partners at one of the biggest May Days in
recent history — and for many people, their first May
Day!1
I was at the rally in D.C., where 5,000 people joined Kilmar Abrego
Garcia’s wife in calling for his return after being disappeared by the
Trump administration. The energy from our collective voices was
energizing and inspiring.
But we know our work doesn’t end on May Day. Trump’s deportations
are increasing: last week in Florida, over 1,000 people were arrested
in a six-day immigration sweep — a model the administration
plans to implement throughout the country.2
We have two upcoming opportunities to gather for political
education and action-planning to meet this political moment:
Deceptive
& Dangerous: What is the Antisemitism Awareness
