As you know, the first 100 days of Trump’s second term has been a dumpster fire.

But just like we saw with the January 6 insurrection, when things go bad for MAGA, it only makes them more dangerous:

It's the same old playbook. When MAGA’s policies are exposed for being harmful to working-class Americans - they fan the flames of hate instead - aiming to sow division between neighbors, families, coworkers, and communities.

But hateful rhetoric like Marjorie Taylor Greene’s makes the work our canvassers do even more dangerous - and we need to prepare our staff on the ground for potential acts of political violence while they organize deep in GOP territory.

In the FL special elections, National Ground Game PAC did the work the Democratic Party never does - going door to door in deep red communities talking to Republican leaning neighbors and convincing them to flip their vote blue. Even then, our canvassers had several serious incidents- and we suspect it may only get worse.

Here are ways we keep our canvassers safe:

• Facilitating transportation to and from our turfs with Ubers and chartered vans so that our staff always has a way to leave threatening situations.
  
  

• Professional security at our larger events.
  
  

• Train our staff on best practices to stay safe while knocking on doors and how to deescalate in dangerous situations.
