Join Principles First as we focus on the challenge of public corruption and the collective defense of the rule of law in the United States. This gathering will occur in the Grand Ballroom of the Yale Club in New York City on the evening of Thursday, May 8th from 6pm-8:30pm EST. Doors open at 6pm.
The evening will begin with a welcome reception followed by formal programming.
This timely and important discussion will examine the erosion of democratic principles, the rise of public corruption, and the role of legal institutions in upholding the rule of law. The evening will feature a keynote conversation with Mimi Rocah, former Westchester County District Attorney, and Preet Bharara, former United States Attorney for the Southern District of New York. We will also honor the principled stand of associates who recently resigned in the wake of their respective firms’ capitulation to the Trump administration—individuals who chose integrity over complicity—followed by a panel discussion with associates Brenna Frey and Sam Wong in a conversation moderated by NYU Law professor, Rick Pildes.
