Two things come to mind when we hear the name Ben & Jerry’s: great ice cream and Left-wing activism.
The company has done a lot to earn that reputation. Many of its political views have been highly offensive to conservatives. Then 2022 happened.
Immediately following the beginning of the Ukraine War, co-founder Ben Cohen became one of America’s only prominent liberals to criticize Joe Biden’s handling of the conflict. He dared to think that maybe U.S. taxpayers shouldn’t fund the bloodshed. Today, that has us thinking he could be worth listening to on another looming issue, the potential war with Iran.

“It’s the U.S. that is using its military power to control the world, and the fact of the matter is that the United States is 5% of the world population. So having 5% dominate the world militarily, that doesn’t sound democratic to me.”
