Team, I’ll be going out to Pennsylvania for my first out-of-state townhall in a district Republicans have refused to show up in.
We’ve done a bunch of townhalls across Arizona over the last two months. Republican leadership told their members not to head out and answer to their constituents, and that didn’t sit right with me. So, I made it a point to go to the redder parts of my state and reach the people we need to be speaking to.
What I’ve found out there might surprise you. The people in those districts aren’t die-hard MAGA fanatics. They’re regular folks who care about their communities — and they’re getting more and more fed up with Trump and Elon Musk as they mess with their jobs, their retirement funds, and the programs they depend on.
So, I figured, why not take this on the road? I’ll be out in PA-12, which is Representative Brian Fitzpatrick’s district. He’s been doing telephone townhalls lately, which is kind of admitting you don’t want to show up and face the music in person. We’ve got to flip this district blue if we want to retake the House, so I’m happy to get the word out and let folks know whose fault it is that the economy is in shambles while prices continue to rise.
I just finished a campaign for Senate last November, but I can’t sit around and do nothing while the GOP lets Trump tear our country apart. I’ve got young kids, and I’m going to make sure I’m fighting as hard as I can so my son and daughter have a bright future.
It might be the Marine in me, but I can’t back down. Not now. Not with so much at stake.
None of this work comes cheap, though. And that’s why I’m writing to you this morning.
Please. If you can afford it, could you chip in something to my campaign so I have the resources we’ll need to keep fighting back on Republicans’ home turf? Anything helps, and these donations add up fast when we’re all chipping in.
