Lackawanna County Deserves Better
This week, the PA GOP called out the ongoing dysfunction in Lackawanna County, where Democrats have left a Board of Commissioners seat vacant for over three months and sparked an internal legal battle by appointing a replacement behind closed doors. On top of that, voters were mistakenly sent 2024 mail-in ballots for the upcoming 2025 election. As Communications Director James Markley put it: “Taxpayers deserve competence, not chaos.” The people of Lackawanna County deserve a government they can trust.

PA GOP Vice-Chair Bernie Comfort took to Broad and Liberty this week to pen an OP-ED supporting our two endorsed statewide judicial candidates: Judge Ann Marie Wheatcraft and Matt Wolford. The article talks about how these candidates are endorsed by the PA GOP, rated Highly Recommended by the PA Bar association, and how they plan to protect the Constitution, not legislate from the bench.
