Over the past few weeks, my team and I have spent many hours reflecting on how we can create a stronger animal protection movement individually and together. This will be a long-term journey, and we are committed to building a better future. In my latest blog, read more about what racial justice means to us.

As someone who cares about eliminating animal suffering, I know you agree that animals deserve better than the filth and abuse they are forced to endure on factory farms. Unfortunately, many people have no idea just how horrible reality is for these animals.
They don’t know that mother cows are repeatedly impregnated and then have their babies taken from them within hours.
They don’t know that chickens raised for meat have been genetically selected to grow so unnaturally large that they physically cannot walk under the weight of their own bodies.
Or that egg-laying hens are packed into filthy wire cages with floor space smaller than an iPad to themselves.
They don’t know that piglets have their teeth cut out and males are castrated with no anesthetic.
But you know. And I’m sure that, like me, you want this suffering to end.
The first step in ending the abuse of animals raised for food is getting enough people to understand and care about what these animals face.
You already know that animals deserve better. Will you share a Facebook post with your online community to raise awareness about this cruelty?
You’re able to reach people that we can’t, and that’s a vital piece of this movement. The animals need as many of us fighting for them as possible.
Animals deserve better than the abuse they face on factory farms. Please raise awareness in your networks by sharing this information on Facebook, Twitter, or Instagram.
Thank you for being the change that is making a kinder world a reality.
