Defender,

Bank of America stands alone as the only major US bank that won’t rule out
funding oil drilling in the Arctic National Wildlife Refuge.

We’re asking all Defenders to contact Bank of America TODAY to urge them to keep
their money out of the Arctic! Sign your name here!

The Trump administration’s plan to lease the Arctic Refuge to oil and gas
companies puts Arctic wildlife and communities in deadly peril. The threatened
Beaufort Sea polar bear population could lose critical habitat to an industrial
invasion of oil machinery, jeopardizing these bears’ survival.

Thanks to pressure from Indigenous community leaders, conservation partners and
activists, all but one of America’s biggest banks have committed not to fund any
new drilling projects in the Arctic.

We need as many supporters as possible to reach out and effectively pressure
Bank of America to committing to pull its money out of the Arctic – a critical
move toward protecting polar bears, migratory birds, and countless other Arctic
species currently in danger.

Please take a moment to join Defenders in standing up to protect Arctic wildlife
right now!

Please don’t wait: Urge Bank of America to pull its money out of the Arctic
TODAY, on behalf of vulnerable animals in the Arctic Refuge!
