When you pray at a 40 Days for Life vigil, you will see more women have abortions than turn around. It's a fact that breaks our hearts and puts our trust in God, not ourselves.

We're grateful for the 17,226 babies saved at 40 Days for Life vigils. Those are the ones we know about, and there are many more we can't confirm. But we never forget the hundreds of thousands of babies we were unable to save.

This was the inspiration for the now-completed 40 Days for Life Memorial to the Unborn.

Located at the former Planned Parenthood abortion facility in Bryan-College Station, Texas, which now serves as the 40 Days for Life international headquarters, the beautiful memorial celebrates the lives of all babies lost to abortion.

6,400 lives--each honored with a gold cross on the memorial's black granite wall--were ended by abortion here.

But their lives were not in vain. Those aborted boys and girls now inspire Christians around the world to take action by praying for an end to abortion.
