John,
The runoff for San Antonio mayor is officially set, and the contrast between the top two candidates couldn’t be clearer.
On one side, we’ve got Gina Ortiz Jones: a veteran, a former Air Force undersecretary, and a lifelong public servant who knows what it means to fight for her community.
On the other? Rolando Pablos — Texas Governor Greg Abbott’s handpicked guy and a former Secretary of State who helped push voter suppression policies across Texas.
This is supposed to be a nonpartisan race, but Abbott is playing hardball. He’s already flexing his political machine in San Antonio — and with a massive war chest, he could flood the airwaves and tip the scales in the final stretch.
But we’re not letting him.
GOTV PAC is all-in to elect Gina Ortiz Jones, but with early voting starting May 27 and turnout already low, we need to scale up fast to reach every voter we can.
We can’t let Greg Abbott pick the next mayor of Texas’ second-largest city. Not after everything he’s done to strip away rights, rig the maps, and silence Texans.
Can you chip in $20 right now to help GOTV PAC power Gina Ortiz Jones to victory on June 7?
