The Lincoln Project

Friend,

Anybody else miss the old Marco Rubio?

You know, the one who told the world about Trump’s tiny hands?

The one who called Trump a con man and said without his massive inheritance he’d be “selling watches in Manhattan"?

The one who Trump said he “wouldn’t hire to run one of his smaller companies”?

Ah, the Little Marco we grew up with. Still a loser, but at least he wasn’t spending his days polishing Trump’s silver like he is now.

Trump just appointed Marco as National Security Advisor.

So, if you’re keeping track, that means he’s:

  • Secretary of State
  • Administrator of the U.S. Agency for International Development
  • Archivist for the National Archives and Records Administration
  • National Security Advisor

Anybody else the slightest bit concerned?

Trump is either too stupid or too lazy (or both) to hire anybody else, so he’s turned to just phoning it in. Completely.

Can we really trust Marco Rubio with four major positions? The answer is no.

This administration is going off the rails and it’s barely even been three months. Can we really sit through another 3 and a half years of this? Once again, the answer is no.

That’s why we’re getting organized and taking action now. We’re revving up production to stay on top of this administration and make sure the 2026 midterms are the worst for an incumbent party to date.

Help us stay in the fight so we can win in ‘26 >>
