Republicans in Congress are trying to cut Medicaid across the country.
And if they do, hundreds of thousands of Virginians could lose health insurance instantly.
Virginia has an outdated trigger law that will go into effect if Republicans in D.C. reduce federal funding obligations for Medicaid by even one percent. And if that happens, the 630,000 Virginians covered by previous Medicaid expansions would immediately lose coverage.
This would have a devastating impact throughout our commonwealth and the country.
