| Fellow Patriot, I'm proud of four things in my life above all else: Becoming a husband. Serving our country overseas. Serving our country in Congress. I can’t thank God enough for being born in the greatest country in the world. In fact, that’s why I initially wanted to serve. I shed blood, sweat, and tears during fourteen years of military service. Sitting around on the sidelines just didn’t do it for me. When I returned home and saw what was happening in our country, I couldn’t resist another call to service. Now that I’m in Congress, I’m on a mission, and I’m not going to give up until people like YOU, Fellow American, can wake up in the morning, turn on the television, drink your coffee, and not get bombarded with doom-and-gloom about the state of our country. Our conservative agenda is the best hope for this nation, and I’m going to work like my life depends on it to make sure we get as much done as humanly possible. You can take that to the bank.
