Dear John,
We are delighted to announce the 2019 Evening for the Environment!
This year’s celebration will be held on Tuesday, October 22, at Innovation Hall on the University of New England campus in Portland.
We’re excited to team up with the Quimby Family Foundation to feature keynote speaker Richard Louv , [[link removed]] journalist and author of the national bestseller Last Child in the Woods . Mr. Louv appears frequently on national radio and television programs and speaks internationally on nature-deficit disorder, the importance of children’s and adults’ exposure to nature for their health, and on the need for environmental protection.
We will also be celebrating this year’s incredible policy wins for conservation and clean energy in Maine. This past legislative session was the most significant in decades thanks to the advocacy of members like you, the leadership of the governor and state lawmakers, and our community of allies and partners.
Don’t wait: Purchase tickets or join the Host Committee now for the conservation community’s biggest party of the year>> [[link removed]]
We would love to hear from you directly if you have questions about the event or are interested in sponsorship opportunities for your business or organization. Please contact me at

Thanks for all you do for Maine’s environment!
