🚨🚨Trump’s war on our public media went nuclear as he signed a terrifying Executive Order demanding the Corporation for Public Broadcasting (CPB) "cease federal funding for NPR and PBS." 🚨🚨

PBS’s CEO is sounding the alarm. She recently warned that "There is no Plan B" if Trump succeeds in his dangerous demand for Congress to zero out funding for public broadcasting.

Make no mistake: Defunding PBS and NPR will force countless local stations to close. And many of the most vulnerable stations are in rural and underserved areas, with populations that don’t have access to or can’t afford cable or satellite.

Congress is feeling the heat and even a few Republicans recently expressed concern. NOW is the moment to keep up the pressure and show Trump that his ruthless attempt to kill public media won’t work.

He’s on a warpath to defund them and is using his latest Executive Order to try to circumvent Congress. But he’s not stopping there. Last week, he ALSO removed three of the five CPB board members. CPB is fighting back, filing a lawsuit to stop this unprecedented attack on its editorial independence. And we’re going to stand with them.
