The Union has some exciting news to share with you !
We are hosting an event May 14, 2025 in Park City, Utah in the Jim Santy Auditorium. [[link removed]] Our feature speaker for the evening is former U.S Congressman Adam Kinzinger! Adam served a dozen years (6 terms) as a Republican Representative from Illinois. But when thousands of rioters stormed our Capitol on January 6, 2021, he knew he had to put country over party. Rep, Kinzinger and Rep. Liz Cheney were the only two Republicans on the House January 6th Committee. They vigorously investigated the riot and its intended purpose. They turned talk into action and gifted the nation with historic hearings and a comprehensive report.

It’s a large auditorium (Sundance shows its movies there!), but there is a finite number of seats, so please register ASAP .

The title of the event is “Community Conversations: Turning Talk into Action” and our President Reed Galen, co-founder of the Lincoln Project, will moderate . Adam and a few local speakers won’t just talk. They will also, take questions, listen and suggest ways we can ALL take action. There will also be several local groups who are working to restore and rebuild democracy who can explain some volunteer opportunities in the area as well. [[link removed]]
