It's Friday, July 5 - and we want to share with you scenes from a week in the field...

LAST FRIDAY.

Last Friday, AC 2020 took to the streets of the Loop outside the Heartland Alliance headquarters to protest against and inform constituents of the child detention taking place here in Chicago.

SATURDAY.

AC 2020 attended the People’s Inauguration hosted by the Chicago Teacher’s Union along with many other wonderful unions.

Also on Saturday, Anthony attended the Chicago Dyke March where he was given the honor of helping to lead the march on his bike.

SUNDAY.

On Sunday, AC 2020 attended Chicago’s Pride Parade where we spent the day celebrating with constituents and practicing being allies in verb form.

THURSDAY.

On Thursday, the team marched in Oak Park’s 4th of July Parade. Along with out mutual celebration with the Oak Park community, the campaign used the parade to call attention to the liberties we still must win for ourselves and our neighbors.
